SOBE Innovative Rehab has been I great asset to my mother’s health. His team is professional ,kind and friendly. I love the way the staff communicates and keeps me in the loop with any change that might occur. I was initially worried my mother would not qualify for services. Without hesitation SOBE stepped in right away and got the ball rolling. The therapist that come to my home are a pleasant presence. They are patient with my mom when she has slower days but they push her to work harder when they feel she can. They listen to her and her body and only do what is in her best interest. Sobe therapists have given me excellent therapists for a while. Every therapist has given me excellent care, motivation, and goals that are achievable.
Recently I was given a chance to go shopping with my daughter and granddaughter. Of course, I took my walker with me. I was able to shop for over an hour!

JR and his team are finely tuned in to people's individual needs and this allows them to reach their potential.
If there were a sixth star I would rate JR, Jackie and Cynthia at Sobe Rehab a 6! My intellectually challenged brother (in his early 60s) had PT & OT with JR and his team in 2017 and 2019 after 2 separate knee replacements. In each case my brother progressed rapidly and went back to work at his job requiring standing and lifting. He even returned to JR’s team for treatment of sciatica.

He has been a tremendous help beyond the call of duty.
My father has lived at an assisted living facility for 3 years. JR has provided a myriad of support for my dad’s care such as physical and ocupational therapy, helping with the purchase and fittings of walkers.
But, more importantly, he has been readily available during times of crisis. The last such event lasted 6 months. JR after meeting with a multi-diciplinary staff at the assisted living where my father lives, was instrumental in offering concrete options. The one he suggested, namely, to move my father to The Memory Care Unit, has proven to be the right decision. His recomendation to make the move gradual also proved to be the right decision. My father is now a full time resident at this higher level of care. He is the healthiest, both physically and mentally, that he has been in many years.
JR is professional, and highly skilled. He has a fine quality of attention and care which makes all the difference in his line of work.. He advocates for his clients and communicates his findings in a timely way. He has been a tremendous help beyond the call of duty.

I had given up until you came into my life. P.S. I will be playing golf again at age 86.
“This is our last day together with my Physical Therapy. I want to thank you for teaching me how to walk again, to keep my balance again, to swing a golf club again (without falling down). With your efforts, I can go home, live by myself, and take care of myself. I remember the first day we met when you came to my room; you told me who you were and that we were going to do Physical Therapy. You asked me to lift my legs; I couldn’t. You asked me to move my feet; I couldn’t. You asked me to move my toes; I could do this. You said, “you are going to walk again.” I started flat on my back, and couldn’t get out of bed without two people helping me because I had Spinal Stenosis with severe Scoliosis. We started off with me in the bed. Then, in about two weeks I was in a wheelchair. From the wheelchair, I went to a walker. From the walker, I went to a cane. And now I am walking on my own.
